Endangered Species Walk-a-Thon

The Elementary Classroom walked six miles in order to raise money for endangered species on the Stowe Bike path. It was really warm. We walked beside a mountain river. It was beautiful.

Our goal is to raise ten thousand dollars. Although we still don’t know how much money we made, we will donate all of it to the National Wildlife Federation. We are still open for donation. My name is Garin Samuelsen, and I am the teacher of an amazing group of 3rd through 6th grade students, who attend the Bellwether School in Williston, Vermont. They feel very strongly about educating the public about the wonders of the environment.

Please help us meet our goal in raising $10,000.00 for the National Wildlife Federation to raise awareness and provide funding to save endangered species. This whole project was envisioned by the Elementary students.

We will be walking up to 8 miles on the Stowe bike path to raise awareness for this cause on Friday, May 8th. Please donate what you can to help us on our mission to save Endangered Species. You can donate a certain amount per mile for one child, 1 cent per step, or a general donation for what you are comfortable with. Anything will help.
