Endangered Species Walk-a-Thon

The Elementary Classroom walked six miles in order to raise money for endangered species on the Stowe Bike path.  It was really warm.  We walked beside a mountain river.  It was beautiful.

Our goal is to raise ten thousand dollars.  Although we still don’t know how much money we made, we will donate all of it to the National Wildlife Federation.  We are still open for donation.  If you want to make a donation please either drop by our school or send a check made out to the National Wildlife Federation at

Lori Lustberg, Jean Reinsbourough, and Kay Poirer were our parent volunteers who we couldn’t have done this without their help.  Our teacher is Garin Samuelsen.  The students who participated in this important walk were Aran, Kai, Jordan, Charlie, Peter, Liam, Henry, and Keenan
